Daybreak Kids Have Fun
 Learning About God

During Sunday morning services a caring and nurturing staff provide consistent supervision for the following age groups:

    Nursery    ages 0-2
    Toddler    ages 2-4
    Preschool  ages 4-K

Age appropriate lessons are provided for ages 2 and up.

 

Paging services:
If your child needs you during the service, we offer a paging device which allows the staff to contact you without interrupting the service.

We provide a well baby nursery. As a health precaution, please keep sick children at home. For safety reasons, we have the following check-in system:

    1. Sign in your child on the sheet provided.
    2. Write your child's name on a name tag
    3. Enjoy the service
    4. Pick up your child.

We encourage you to fill out a registration card. Our staff would like to send your child a birthday card and keep parents informed about upcoming  programs.

Children in grades 1-5 begin worship with their families, and then meet together for the Bible story and a combination of drama, music, and games. We then break into small age groups for review and application. Our reward system keeps kids motivated for learning.

Visitors - Please sign in on the Visitors Sheet with your child's name. A volunteer will help make a name tag for each child. To receive a permanent name tag, please fill out a registration card. Registering your child/children has the additional benefit of letting our teachers get to know your child by calling or sending cards. After the third visit, Kids Country staff will call the parents to arrange a special outing with your child and a friend. We encourage you to become a regular attendee and help your children get involved in the excitement of living the Christian life.

Special Events
We plan special events and encourage unity among the children and involve friends and family. Activities include Hike Day, Bowling, Game Night, Christmas Plays, Beach Break and a Harvest Party. We also have outreach programs which include Sweater Sunday and Beach Clean Up.

Staff:
Children's Director, Roxanne Hill is married to husband Carl and has three beautiful daughters. She has worked in children's ministry for 15 years and has been attending Daybreak for 4 years. She loves roses, painting, playing tennis, and kids of course.

Nursery Supervisor, Cathi Haas is married to husband Pete and has two handsome boys. She absolutely loves working with babies in Sonshine Club. Her family has been at Daybreak for about 3 years. Besides spending time with her family, Cathi loves animals of all kinds.

Our volunteer staff is carefully hand-picked by Roxanne and Cathi.
