Daybreak's Purpose

Daybreak Community Church seeks to serve its members by providing them with opportunities for spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, and cultural development. We seek to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission (Luke2:52, Matthew 22:36-40, and Matthew 28:18-20). We wish to be a community of diverse people with a common purpose and central focus. Daybreak exists for the four fold purpose of Transformation, Ministry, Community, and Outreach.

TRANSFORMATION: Explore
We believe that people need to have permission to accept God's radical change and become a worshipper.

MINISTRY: Equip
We believe that God-gifted believers who use their abilities to serve will accomplish God's Kingdom purpose.

COMMUNITY: Expand
We believe that relationship is the primary way God desires to expand His family

OUTREACH: Exit
We believe that exiting people to do ministry should be the natural outgrowth of God's church

Each purpose area is overseen by a Church Elder who is chosen based on the qualifications in Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:6-10 and who is assisted by Team Leaders and Prayer Team Members.
