Men's Focus

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17

The bottom line is that we are about changed lives. That is how we measure success and what is at the core of all we do within the Men's Focus at Daybreak Community Church. As men become followers of Christ, commit to becoming spiritually mature, develop the spiritual gifts God has given them and learn to become contagious Christians, success is happening. Our goal is to provide opportunities that allow men to get to know each other better and an end result of men becoming more like Christ.

Softball
Would you like to join a group of guys who like to play ball? We're always looking for team members. Every season we bring it to a close with a tailgate party at the Q and watch a great Padres game together. If you'd like more info about signing up, call the church office at 931-7773. We also have a co-ed team that always needs new team members.

Retreats
These are our biggest events of the year, along with Promise Keepers. Every summer and winter we men go have fun with sports, a Biblical speaker, a chance to relax and enjoy great food. Our retreats usually take place up in the San Bernadino Mountains. Sometimes we'll squeeze in a Fall Beach Camp-Out just because we love hanging out together and growing together in Christ.

Discipleship
If you would like to grow spiritually, this is an opportunity to be mentored by another man. You meet with your mentor once a week for a designated amount of time set by you and your mentor. Once you've finished, if you would like to, you can lead someone else through discipleship. If you're interested in participating or have any questions, please call Pastor Harold at 931-7773 ext. 12.
