A Youth Ministry That Works

At Daybreak we put a priority on youth. That's why we train our teachers and leaders to communicate the Truth to our students. It's our purpose to educate them about who God is and how He works in our lives. By the
time students graduate, its our goal for them to understand salvation through Jesus Christ, how God cares for them, and how He can give them the esteem to stand firm against the onslaught of peer pressure in our
local culture in today's society.
We believe community can help develop Christian faith. That's why we do extracurricular events such as small groups, camps, concerts, snow board trips, pizza parties, amusement park trips, and mission trips. along with, Sunday
morning Youth services, and our Monday and Tuesday night gatherings, these events provide a sense of community and help each student grow spiritually.
We desire to reach kids from all walks of life. From the kid who has grown up in the church, to the kid who would not normally be interested in the local church,
our goal is to share the Gospel with them all. We do this by offering students the opportunity to experience enthusiastic worship, a life of challenging messages and a lot of fun |

You could describe our Student Ministries as "cutting edge". That's because reaching today's teens takes an "in your face" approach and a message delivered with current social and spiritual issues in mind. One
designed to positively impact the lives of teens in a world that can be very negative. Its an approach that has placed this ministry at the forefront of Christian leadership in this region. Youth Pastor Shawn Beaty
and his staff take an aggressive approach to teaching God's Word that mirrors the aggressive lifestyle of today's youth. Teens want to be taken seriously, at Daybreak, they are.
On Sunday morning, both Senior
and Junior High students meet together during First Service. Usually, only half of the kids are awake at this time so we do our best to wake them up and give them a boost for the coming week During second service
students split into separate groups after worshipping together.

Both age groups are given challenging lessons that involves group discussion and Biblical instruction. At Daybreak we strive to provide a life changing atmosphere for the whole family.
On Monday nights, Junior
High Focus meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Ministry Center. This event is specifically designed for Junior High students. During this event, they experience fellowship through games and activities, a Bile study with
discussions in small groups as well as worship music.
On Tuesday nights, Senior High Focus meets at 7:00 p.m. at the Ministry Center. We have purposely designed Tuesday nights to be Generation X-style church
service. Worship is lead by their own praise band and a Biblical message presented that deals with student interests and issues. Add a bit of humor to help break the ice and you have Tuesday night at Daybreak.
We welcome students and parents to come check out our weekend and weeknight events. If you have any questions about Daybreak's Youth Focus, please contact Youth Pastor Shawn Beaty at (760)931-7773
